Can we all take a moment to admire how stinking cute a little footprint is? This print belongs to my eighteen month-old, Madeline. She giggled and wiggled the entire time I was painting her foot. She’s obviously too young to know or care about Frankenstein, but she sure enjoyed being a part of the process!
Materials
– Cardstock Paper (or a paper plate)
– Paint: Green, Black
– Marker
Directions: Quickly paint your child’s foot green. Paint the toes black. Press down onto your piece of paper. Allow to dry, then draw on the eyes, mouth, stitches, and bolts. See the photo above for reference.
Tips:
– Sit your child in his/her high chair while you do this.
– Use a book as support for the paper while you’re pressing the foot down.
-Have an extra paper in case it smears badly the first time.
– Also, you can fill in any blank spots with a paintbrush of even your finger.
-Last but not least, make sure you have a paper towel or washcloth nearby to quickly wipe your child’s foot clean. Enjoy!
