Submarine Craft with Printable

Submarine Craft for Kids

Oh boy. That’s quite a submarine, isn’t it? lol! Lorelai decided that she wanted a pink submarine with yellow windows, and she wasn’t having it any other way! Her craft, her choice. Then, she decided that she needed farm animals to be “inside” and looking out the windows. I love this kid. Picture overload today; I was in a clicking mood.

3 different blues & blue-greens

It's coming along nicely!

Gluing down everything!

Materials We Used:

  • 1 Piece of Cardstock (for printing)
  • 1 Background – we used a blank 12×12 scrapbook paper
  • Paint – optional colors
  • Paintbrushes
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Stickers – optional (but you know you want some farm animals in your sub!)

Directions: Pretty much the same as every other printable craft on this website. Print out the printable, get your child to paint it. When it’s dry, cut out and glue down. There’s a little “example” of the sub on the printable that you can use as a guideline for gluing. SO easy. I had Lorelai paint the background first, since I knew it would take more time to dry.

Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for this great template! I used it to teach about the song “Yellow Submarine” during our transportation unit. I stuffed tissue paper inside and colored two sides to make it 3D. The kids really liked it. 🙂
