Paper Plate Monkey Craft

February 17, 2011 by Kimberly 6 Comments

Lorelai is obsessed with animal crafts, and lately she has been asking for a new monkey craft to do. I came up with this adorable paper plate monkey craft for her! It’s very simple and straight-forward, perfect for a young, animal-loving preschooler!

Materials: Cardstock, Paper Plate, Brown Paint, Tan Paint, Scissors, Googly Eyes, Glue, Marker
Directions: Paint one paper plate brown and allow to dry. On the cardstock, draw ears and the monkey’s muzzle. Paint the tan color and allow to dry, then cut out and glue onto the brown paper plate. Glue on the googly eyes, and draw on any other details with your black marker. See? Super simple!

We’re making this for my mother in law’s birthday card. Parker LOVES tall-raffes (thats what she calls them). She had so much fun making this.
