Who doesn’t love a sparkly goldfish? We’ve made many fish crafts in the past, including a bubble art blowfish, a handprint fish, and even fish prints from a homemade fish sponge! This is our first actual goldfish craft. Lorelai chose to paint hers orange with a “cosmic glitter paint” overlay. She claims that it shows how shiny the fish’s scales are in real life.
She did this one all on her own. I still sit with her while she crafts and we talk. If she does a handful of crafts at once, I’ll help her cut. Not because she needs it, but because it’s fun bonding time for us. This is something we’ve been doing for 5 years now and we both really enjoy it.
However with this one, once the paint was dry, she snatched it up and cut it out on her own. She did such a great job, too. You can print a copy of our free template below. Enjoy!
