We have been so incredibly successful at staying busy that we haven’t had any time to do any crafts! I have one or two planned before our trip next week, but I doubt we’ll be able to get to this one. I’ve been sitting on this one for a while – I asked if anyone was interested in a turtle printable, and got some positive responses… so here it is!
If your child does this one, snap a pic and put it on FB, and don’t forget to tag LearnCreateLove’s FB Page so I can see! 🙂 I love seeing my crafts getting used ~ totally makes the time I spend turning them into printables worth it!
Materials Needed:
- Cardstock
- Paint, crayons, or markers
- Glue
- Scissors
- Googly Eyes (optional)
Directions: Print the craft, and have your child paint the different turtle body parts. Once dry, cut out glue (shell on TOP). Add googly eyes to the head if you want!
Craft/Learning Expansion: On a separate piece of paper, have your child paint an ocean. Add the finished & dry turtle, as well as stickers of other sea creatures. Then go learn about sea turtles!

Thank you for the turtle craft. My students enjoyed cutting, assembling, and coloring their turtles while learning how to determine key details in the story ‘Tortoise and the Hare”.
