Each year, millions of monarch butterflies migrate south to Mexico for the winter. Like with birds, these butterflies prefer warmer weather, and will stay to enjoy the mild climate for a few months until they make their way back north. After learning that (and explaining how like birds these butterflies are), Lorelai painted, cut out, and assembled this monarch butterfly craft. Print below and enjoy!
This craft is a part of our Around the World (Mexico) series. Stay tuned for more fun crafts and activities in this series!
