Practice Cutting: Zoo Edition

Zoo week is here! So so excited about this one because we’re ending the week on Friday by visiting the zoo, something we haven’t done in over a year (oops). Neither of us were in a crafty mood this morning so we did our regular homeschool thing in the morning and added in this cutting activity. Lorelai is getting good with scissors, which means that she will be able to cut out her own crafts soon – YAY! I’m probably a little TOO enthusiastic about this since I’ve had to cut out sooooo many printables the past few years. Not that I’m complaining, but I’m ready to pass on the job. =)

So she cut out these three zoo animals (yes, the parrot is from pirate week – I got lazy, haha) and glued them down onto a piece of construction paper. Simple yet she felt very accomplished by doing everything 100% on her own!
