{ Ten on Tuesday }

1. What are your plans for the holidays? Do you travel at Thanksgiving? If you celebrate Christmas, do you travel then, too? Thanksgiving, we were planning on staying home, but M wants to go to his parents house. So I guess we’re doing that. No traveling for the holidays for us.
2. How do you make the plans for the holiday? If you have a significant other, how do you decide which family to visit? We live too far from my family to visit this year, so we’re spending the holiday with his family.
3. Do you have your Thanksgiving meal at lunch or later in the day? Around 2-3 pm, usually.
4. Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving tradition? No real traditions for Thanksgiving. Just lots of yummy food!
5. After a big meal do you lounge around or get up and take a walk? Lounge around and hang out, talk. (If I’m not being ignored like usual.)
6. Do you shop on “Black Friday” or do you avoid it? No, I’d consider it every year but decide not to last minute. There’s nothing I want bad enough to fight the crowds for… I’d rather pay full price!
7. When do you usually finish your Christmas shopping? A couple of weeks before Christmas. I started in September buying little stuff. The majority is going to be done over the next couple of weeks.
8. Do you and your significant other exchange gifts? Is there a budget? We are this year, and of course there’s a budget. We’re a single income family!
9. When do you decorate for the holidays? The day after Thanksgiving. I’ve been itching to put the tree up for weeks, but I’m forcing myself to wait. LOL
10. Do you go “all out” with the decor or do you keep it simple? Simple since we’re living in an apartment.
