Playdough mats are something I’ve had bouncing around my head for a while. I’ve seen some before on Pinterest, but never really looked into it. I was brainstorming with Lore last night and she thought the ones I came up with were fun. I finished them up this morning and immediately printed them out and laminted them. Laminating is a must, in my opinion. Otherwise, the playdough will stick to the paper. You can also use sheet protectors.
So the two I made were Ee is for Egg (and Easter), and Ff is for Flower. I’m definitely going to make one for each letter in the alphabet, so keep an eye out!!
Lorelai had fun decorating the eggs and creating flowers. As did I. It was a nice deviation from our usual play of making “cookies” and decorating her playdoh Mr. Potato Head. We just used the leftover mini play-doh’s from her birthday. I didn’t feel up to making a batch of homemade playdough today. This worked great, with all of the different colors. Anyway, print below and enjoy!
