I can’t believe it has taken me so long to make a dragonfly craft for Lorelai. Actually, if memory serves, I think we did do one in Maryland last year for my mom (she loves dragonflies) but I freehanded it and it came out… weird. This one is much better. =)
Lorelai has been so funny with this list she made. In case you’re just tuning in, she went through her animal encyclopedia the other day and pointed out a bunch of animals that we hadn’t done crafts of yet. We’ve been making our way through the list the past few days. Anyway, last night before bed she made me promise to make two new crafts for her today — a dragonfly and a duck — and she would NOT get into bed until I promised. So last night I doodled and designed and came up with them. They were printed and sitting on the kitchen table this morning and it was the first thing she wanted to do when she woke up. I didn’t get process pictures again because she just did them at the table (there is ZERO natural light in our apt – boo!) and I was still blinking myself awake. Hope you can get some use out of these printables!!

Thank you for download the pattern. Last time I made dragonfly but I change the body with the straw so I can cut the top to put cotton ball and eyes. I hang in the ceiling of my class. Kids love it.
