We live 1500 miles away from my family, and it absolutely sucks. There’s no other way to put it. I miss them like crazy all of the time, and I miss HOME. I think it’s really been weighing on me lately because of the holiday and I can’t seem to shake the funk I’ve been in for the past week and a half. My moods have been all over the place, I’ve been taking little things too personally and have made a big deal out of them. That’s not like me… I’m usually laid back and easily brush little nuances away. I feel like I need some good fresh, Maryland farm air to clear my mind and refocus. We’re planning a trip up for the end of May, thank goodness!
Enough with the pity paragraph. =) I revamped the look a little in honor of Earth Day, which is coming up in a couple of weeks. I added a photo I took of the farm I pretty much grew up on and updated the color scheme to a more natural palette. I’m really digging it!
