Springtime is almost here! I know many parts of the US are breathing a huge sigh of relief right about now. And, while the temperatures in Houston never got too cold, I am ready for bright blue skies and fun spring activities. Lorelai asked me about flower crafts a couple of weeks back and I thought up this one. It’s simple and really cute! She really enjoyed this one – she did them all on her own!
This one would also be great for spring or Easter class parties – it only takes a couple of minutes and a few materials!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 Popsicle Stick
- Green Marker or Paint
- Glue
- Cupcake Liner
- Pom Pom
- Construction Paper
What To Do:
- Color or paint the popsicle stick green.
- Take your cupcake liner and invert it so that the pattern side is fluffed out. Glue it down to the top of the popsicle stick.
- Glue down your pom pom.
- Cut out a couple of leaves from the green construction paper, then glue down.
Voila! A simple, cute flower craft!
If you don’t have patterned cupcake liners, a plain one will work! Have your child decorate it before gluing it to the popsicle stick!
