Have you heard of leafcutter ants? They are fascinating insects that live on the rainforest floor. Lorelai read about them when searching for rainforest animals to craft. Fun fact– they consume more vegetation than any other animal group, and inject fungal secretion into the leaves. By doing this, they can turn poisonous leaves into an edible meal. So neat!
