Egg Carton Turkey Craft

Thanksgiving is only a couple days away and we are just now making our first Thanksgiving craft of the year. That has to be a new (not great) record for us. This pregnancy is kicking my butt!

But we did get around to making one, and it’s a cute one — Egg Carton Turkeys!

Materials:
— Egg Carton Cups
— Brown Marker or Crayons (or paint!)
— Feathers
— Glue
— Googly Eyes
— Orange & Red scraps of construction paper, cut into beak & watte shapes – just wing it! (we used white regular and Lore colored them in)

This craft is so very simple. If you’re making deviled eggs for the holiday, the empty cardboard carton will be perfect for this one. Just cut out two or more of the cups and turn them upside down (you might have to trim a little to get them to sit flat).
Have your child color the cup brown.
Have them glue small feathers around the back side of the turkey.
Then glue on the googly eyes, beak and wattle.

I did mention this one is really simple, didn’t I? I hope you get to make some with your kid(s). Mine loved it! Here are some other fun Turkey Crafts your child can make: Printable Turkey, Handprint Turkey, Paper Bag Turkey Craft, & Pine Cone Turkey Craft.
