This was the first craft we did today (the second is posted below). Lorelai had just climbed out of bed, eaten her breakfast, and was still in her PJs with a messy head. Didn’t stop her from asking to do a craft though! We picked up these orange beads from Wal-Mart the other day. The whole pack was like $2, so not that expensive! You can find them in the craft section where all of the jewelry making stuff is located.
Materials We Used:
- Black Construction Paper (background)
- Orange Beads
- Glue
- Green Construction Paper (stem)
- Scissors
Directions: This one is pretty much self-explanatory, but for the sake of being thorough… Draw a pumpkin on the black construction paper with your glue, then fill in with more glue. Have your child distribute the beads over the glue. Press down. Do this until the entire pumpkin is covered in orange beads. Then, cut out the stem and glue it down. So easy!
Tip: Do a small pumpkin so that the paper won’t fold under the weight of the beads.
