Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, not that we really celebrate it much. I usually do a craft or two with Lorelai because it’s fun. Last year we did a paper plate maraca, which looked awesome but could have been better (use bowls!). This year we did this sombrero craft with some of the leftover dyed pasta from our rainbow craft.
Materials We Used:
- 1 Piece of Cardstock for the printable
- glue
- dyed pasta (green, yellow, and red)
Directions:
Prepare the pasta as directed here. Print out the printable (below). Squirt glue all over the sombrero and allow your child to lay down the dyed pasta. If you don’t want to do pasta, you could use paint, crayons, glitter glue, tissue paper, beans, etc. The possibilities are endless. =)
