She was in such a great mood – love it! She was cracking jokes the entire time she was painting. The collage below shows that a bit. I love when she’s a happy girl and not a 3-year-old monster. LOL! (And that probably sounds wrong/mean, but if you’ve ever had a 3-year-old, you know what I’m talking about.)
Materials Needed:
- Cardstock
- Paint in different colors
- Glue
- Scissors
- Little hands
Directions: Cut out flowers and inside circle & hearts. Get your child to paint the big pieces first. Set aside to dry. Dip thumbs in paint and print onto the inside pieces. We did heart shapes inside the heart and a little flower inside of the circle. It doesn’t have to be perfect! Allow all pieces to dry, then glue down onto another piece of cardstock (or construction paper)… Get your child to paint on the green stems. I showed Lorelai once and she did the rest by herself.
Pretty easy! You don’t need the printable for this one if you’re crafty. Just draw on flowers and hearts onto the cardstock and cut out. The printable definitely makes life a lot easier, though.
