I didn’t take this photo today. In fact, it was one of the ones I took back in MD – as were the others I’ve been posting lately. I’ve resized and edited a bunch of them to place in the posts in which I don’t have a relevant picture to add. I really like this one, as it speaks of the current state of our home at the moment: calm. Quiet.
Why? Because Lorelai is spending the night at her Grandma’s house. She was having so much fun that she just couldn’t leave. She clung to her grandma until she was invited to stay – LOL! I’ve never seen her act that way, but it’s nice having the night off.
This marks her 3rd night away from us. The 1st was when the hurricane came through Houston. We stayed at M’s sister’s house and we ended up coming back a day early because I had a photo shoot. M’s mom watched her for me, thankfully! The other time was in Maryland a few years back. My brother and sister-in-law invited me to one of their parties and my mom kept her for the night. So 3 times in 3 years. No wonder she’s so incredibly attached! LOL!
(Speaking of attached… we have no baby and I’m sitting at home thinking & blogging about her – go figure!)
