Pretend Play Printables: Animal Hospital & Pet Adoption

About a month ago, we adopted our two shelter cats, Bellatrix and Pepper. Lorelai is still head over heels for them, and is constantly playing with them. She makes them paper collars out of construction paper, and they are the first thing she asks about after she gets out of school. “How are my kitties?!” I think it’s sweet!

We have been playing a couple of new pretend games lately – Animal Hospital and Pet Adoption. With Pet Adoption, she lines up her adoptable animals and we go through the adoption process. She LOVES it. Playing Vet is also fun. We had to take Pepper in for a visit shortly after getting her. It was a new experience for us, and Lore, and she took in every detail. She plays a great veterinarian and is very thorough; she even takes the temperature properly! =)

So, in light of our two new favorite pretend play games, I made a couple of handy printables to go along with them. They have been a hit!

One is the Pet Adoption form, and the other the Animal Hospital Visit. The Animal Hospital Visit form is a little more complicated, but of course you could always skip over the ‘hard’ parts. I printed and laminated ours. And, in a stroke of genius, I put the pages back to back and laminated them that way, so there would only be 1 laminated sheet to deal with. That is definitely the way to go if you want to use both sheets! I’m all for less paper and mess everywhere. If you don’t have a laminator, a sheet protector will work just fine.

I didn’t turn these black and white. Your printer settings should have a black and white option somewhere (usually ‘advanced settings’ – I think that’s what mine says). Print below and enjoy!!

And now a cheeky request, could you design the dress shop set for boys too, pretty please with sugar on the top? ;P

I’m just wondering if you could possibly email me the pet adoption and pet hospital sheets? Everytime I click the links to download/print I’m redirected to a different (non-related) page. I think these sheets would be a fantastic addition to my Kindergarten classroom–but I can’t seem to get them! Thanks!
