Our Glittery “Snow” Play Dough

Glittery “Snow” Play Dough

There are many fun and adorable versions of homemade sensory snow out there. I’ve been wanting to try many versions, but haven’t been able to get around to it. Lorelai picked up a icky stomach bug earlier this week and had to miss her Christmas party today. Poor girl – she has missed the Thanksgiving party AND the Christmas party. She was so upset. I promised to do all of the fun stuff they were doing at the party with her and we started off by making “snow” with playdough. As I mentioned above, this wasn’t the original kind I was going to try. With a sick kid underfoot, we haven’t been able to get to the store to get the right ingredients. I had to think fast and decided to just do regular homemade play dough and add a ton of silver glitter. She was very happy with it!

She used a hard paper towel roll to roll out the play dough.

Overall, a fun activity for this afternoon! You can find the recipe here ~ just add some glitter!!
