{ Friday Five }

Oh Friday Five, how I’ve missed you. I’ve probably mentioned it before, but I’ve had a myriad of blogs since I was a teenager. A bunch of years back, I discovered Friday Five and looked forward to participating every week. I’m excited to get started again – so much that I made a pretty graphic to head my weekly posts. Haha! =)

This Week’s Friday Five Questions:

  1. Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? 0.O <- my WTF face
  2. What always gets you down? Thinking about home.
  3. If you had to live yesterday once more (literally yesterday, as in Thursday the 14th), which part might be worth writing a pretty pop song about? Um, I Mommied, crafted, cleaned, and watched Dexter yesterday. Not much to write a song about!
  4. Where’s the coolest place you’ve been where you could look “down on creation?” I interviewed at a high rise in downtown Chicago once. I was a few minutes late so my sole focus was on the interviewer. After she got up to get some paperwork, I caught sight of the view behind her and it literally took my breath away. She came back to me plastered agasint her window, and no, I didn’t get the job. =P
  5. What’s something in your life that has only just begun? My weight loss regime. I laid on bed rest for a total of 8 solid months of my life and this is way harder. Losing muscle mass and my sanity was a lot easier!!!

Last Week’s Friday Five:

  1. Do you still have your senior yearbook? Where is it? In a box in the basement of my parents’ house! I have all 4 high school years.
  2. What souvenir did you bring back from your last trip? My last trip was to visit family, not sight-see. I didn’t really bring back any souvenirs.
  3. What visible signs are there of your most recent injury? A bruise on my upper arm from running into the kitchen cabinet. Ouch!
  4. What’s the neatest wedding favor you’ve ever seen? Christmas tree ornaments! I like the idea of being able to put a memory onto the tree!
  5. What do you do with playbills and movie-ticket stubs? I usually keep them for a while and then throw them away in one of my OCD de-clutter splurges.
