This week in (home)school, we are learning about ancient Egypt. We are using Stories of the World and we didn’t have many of the materials needed for the coordinating activities they listed. So, naturally I had to make some of our own. One of those crafts is the Eye of Ra. I just made a simple outline that she can color or paint. She may choose to cut it out and place it against a papyrus-like paper background. I will come back later and show you her project. For now, grab the printable below!
Update: Here is Lorelai’s project. She chose to go the colorful route. Instead of cutting out the eye, she painted the background first and then went back and darkened in the eye outline. It turned out pretty cool!
