I bought a set of colored pens a few weeks ago and Lou has had a great time drawing different pictures with them. I found these two this evening and we sat down after dinner and talked about what they were and why she did things a certain way. She has gotten really good about explaining her thought process behind certain pictures. I love seeing into her little mind!

My favorite! So much going on in this one... A girl wearing a shirt and tutu. On the shirt is a picture of the girl and the cat's faces, circled by a heart. The girl is holding a doll cat toy (it has a hat on) in one hand a PB&J sandwich in the other, and is licking her lips because the sandwich looks yummy.. The cat is wearing a dress, flower headband, and purple wig. She has a PB&J sandwich on her back. On the ground in front of her is a cat food bowl with a small cat on the front of it.
