Summer is quickly coming to an end and Lorelai’s second grade orientation is coming up this week. I don’t think any of us is ready to get back into the school year schedule. She gets home so late… after homework, dinner, and her shower, there is not much time for anything else.
We have had a pretty great summer. Lots of great memories were made and we enjoyed a lot of firsts with our little Maddie (now 5 months old). We’ve also been doing lots of crafts in our downtime. That’s our “girl time.” She plays video games (Minecraft, of course) with her dad, and she paints and crafts with me. It’s great bonding time. =)
ANYWAY, onto the point of this post… here is our lighthouse craft. It’s broken up into two separate pieces. Lorelai did a standard paint job on hers, though she jazzed it up a bit with metallic and sparkly paint. =) Grab the free printable below. Enjoy!
