With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we are squeezing in as many turkey crafts as possible. We love to make bright, colorful turkeys, and this one is no exception. A few years ago, we made a very similar paper bag turkey craft, but we just free-handed it out of construction paper. I’ve been trying to come up with some fun printable paper bag puppets for those freehand-challenged people (*raises hand* right there with you — hence the whole start of this website and me sharing printable templates!) Anyway, grab the printable below and happy crafting!
Materials: Brown paper lunch sack (normal size, not jumbo), printable template pages (print above), crayons/colored pencils, glue stick
Directions: Color in the template, then cut out and glue down onto your brown paper bag. You will want to put the nose and snood right on the seam that opens as the “mouth”. Glue down the feathers to the back of the bag.
