As Lorelai would say, Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week and will have an even better weekend. To my friends and family on the east coast, stay safe!! We are all praying for minimal damage for everyone. Hurricanes/Tropical Storms are so scary.
This afternoon, after we got home from our errands, Lorelai asked to do her moose craft. It’s been sitting around waiting to be painted. I didn’t get any pictures of the process (being lazy), but it turned out so cute!
Materials We Used:
- Cardstock – to print the craft onto
- A Background – optional, but looks best if glued down (I used scrapbooking paper)
- Brown & Black Paint – or whatever colors
- Googly Eyes – optional
- Paintbrushes
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions: Print the moose craft onto cardstock (thicker than regular paper and will hold the paint better). Have your child paint each part of the moose. Lorelai did brown for the entire moose, except for the hooves and nose holes. Once dry, cut out and glue down as shown above. Take care to glue the antlers the right side up (bumps on top). Lorelai glued hers on upside down and I had to photoshop them in the picture above, haha.
