{ Hearts Stamps with Paper Roll }

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m actually not a huge fan of the holiday. I believe that love should be showed year-round, not just on one day. It’s a fun holiday with a child though, especially one who whole-heartily LOVES Valentine’s Day! =) I made her heart pancakes first thing this morning and will probably make her a heart sandwich as well. Unfortunately, we can’t go to the Valentines Day party with the playgroup because she STILL has a hacking cough. She just can’t shake this cold! Boo!

Anyway, Lorelai wanted to make her daddy a picture this morning, so I busted out a toilet paper roll and a piece of paper so she could do heart stamps.

This activity is really easy. Just bend one end of the paper roll so that it looks like a heart. You might have to fold the TP roll in half first so that it will be flat (otherwise the heart won’t be whole – aw. You’ll see what I mean.) Dip it in the paint and press down. Easy peasy!!
