Aardvark, not only a fun word to say and spell, but also a very interesting animal! The aardvark has been on my list to design for such a long time. We finally got around to it recently and it turned out so cute with its long ears, rounded snout, and long tail. Grab a copy of the template below and enjoy! Facts About Aardvarks
– Aardvarks live in Africa, and its name “earth pig” in the Afrikaans language of South Africa.
– Aardvarks are nocturnal.
– They spend the most of the hot afternoon holed up underground in burrows.
– They favorite food is termites, and they spend most of the night traveling around trying to find large mounds.
– They can weigh up to 180 lbs!
– They are omnivores.
– Their tongues are around 12 inches long — good for getting those termites!
