Printable Humpback Whale Craft

I designed this humpback whale craft for my animal-obsessed daughter. The whale itself is cut in half on the printable – you must glue the front and back parts together. I had to position it that way so that the whale wouldn’t too small. =) Print below and enjoy!

Facts About Humpback Whales

  • Humpback whales are an endangered species.
  • They can grow to be between 48-62 feet long, and weigh up to 40 tons!
  • They are known for their ‘songs’, which they sing/howl/moan/etc in order to attract mates and communicate with each other.
  • Humpback whales are found on coastlines and feed on small fish and krill.
  • Mother whales and their babies swim close together and often touch one another with their flippers as a sign of affection.
  • Humpback whales are known to jump out of the water and create a huge splash.

  1. Thanks for posting all these! I just pulled my 5 year old from school last week and we’re doing a unit on sharks and ocean life. This has been really helpful getting ideas. I will DEFINITELY be making a jellyfish in a bottle with him.
