Summer is well underway and I realized that we haven’t done many summer-y crafts. Sure, we’ve done tons of aquatic animals (see the Craft Archive), but nothing geared specifically for summer. As a child, my summers usually consisted of bike rides, ice cream, and a family vacation to the beach. We always had a pail and shovel to take a long and build sand castles with. Why not make a craft out of it? Lorelai now has several that she plays with on the patio in her sand and water table. She enjoyed doing this one, and frankly so did I. There’s very minimal gluing here – we’re talking two dots to keep the handle on. VERY easy! Print below and enjoy!
