Inspiration hit last night and I ended up creating three new crafts for Lorelai to do today. She wasn’t feeling well last night and ended up getting sick in my bed, but thankfully the illness didn’t stick around. She was very excited to wake up with some activities lined up today! Print above, directions are at the bottom.
Materials We Used:
- 2 Pieces of Cardstock (1 to print, 1 to use as background)
- Paint (Blue/Purple, or whichever colors you want)
- Glue
- Scissors
Directions: Print out the octopus printable (link at the top, under first picture). Paint all of the pieces with the exception of the eyes and mouth/smile. Allow to dry, then cut out and assemble with glue. Lorelai wanted to draw the smile on, but there is a mouth included.
Tip: I glued down the head first, but only in the center, then did each “arm” by tucking them under the head. Once all of the arms were glued down, I then went around the edges of the head and then glued it completely down.
