After doing a bit of grocery shopping this evening, we all piled back into the car and took a ride downtown to see the lights and map out a future trip Lorelai and I will be taking. I took my camera with me and snapped a bunch of pictures. City lights are the best, and seeing them always reminds me of why I love living in a city. I just wish we were closer to downtown!
There was a big festival downtown and we rode by slowly with the windows down. Lorelai was in the backseat oohing and ahhing over the lights and dancing to the beat of drums from the festival. She was dramatically narrating our ride through the city and seemed to be really enjoying herself.
