This is Me – Body Outline Printable

School starts in just a few short weeks here. I can’t say that I’m glad – summer has flown for us! We went for a month-long trip to visit my family in June. And July? I have NO idea where the last month went. I’m sure August will be the same. My daughter is going into first grade this year and is very excited for school to start.

Anyway, today I’m sharing this fun body outline craft. This is great for pre-k and kinder classes. Lorelai’s pre-k teacher sent home a hand-drawn version of this. All of the students decorated their own people and then took it back to school. She had it pinned to a bulletin board with the kids’ names above their own little person. It was really cute!

Materials – Cardstock paper for printing & whatever decorative materials you want! You can use crayons and markers and leave it at that, or you could add extras. We used letter beads (she spelled out her name in the middle of the dress), acrylic jewel embellishments, brown string for the hair, googly eyes, tan & red crayons, glue, scissors, and construction paper for the dress.
A BIG thanks to CraftProjectIdeas.com for supplying us with the letter beads, friendship string, and acrylic jewels. They all worked wonderfully with this craft!

TIP– My daughter cut out the body outline first, then I traced it *lightly* on top of construction paper. I took the outline out around the arms and lefs to make the dress, then just cut down around the neck/chest. Same with the shoes.

I hope you and your child/children/students enjoy making little mini-versions of themselves with this handy printable. I’d love to see how you use it! Feel free to send pictures to learncreatelove@gmail.com or share on our Facebook Page. Have a great week!

HI! I used to frequent your page a lot when my older daughter (now almost 13) was younger and loved all your activities and printables. Now, with this C19 situation, we are all at home and my younger daughter (2 1/2) is loving your printables. Today while I work my older daughter is helping the younger do this “this is me” preschool activity and I can’t wait to see the result. I just want to say thank you for keeping this website up and going. The materials are timeless and keep on giving!
