Lorelai was practically squeaking with suppressed joy when she saw me get out the glitter from one of our craft boxes this morning. She ran around and around in circles, clutching it to her chest with a giant smile on her face. I wish I had got that on camera; it was pretty hilarious! Here is the craft we did today. It’s not perfect, but we like it. =)

Working on the craft. She did the face all by herself, but I had to touch it up after because she just looked depressed – LOL.
Materials we used:
- Paper Plate (cut into the shape of an angel)
- 1 piece of gold cord for the halo (a pipe cleaner would work, too)
- Glue
- Glitter
- Crayons
Tip: It took me two tries to get the plate right, so maybe draw the lines on beforehand to avoid an extra step. I just poked holes in the top for the halo cord and unscrewed the glue cap and dumped the glue on.
Big thanks to Ramblings of a Crazy Woman for this craft!

Cute – I started a similar craft with my 13-18 month class yesterday and let them water color the plates that I’ll cut out for a angel tree topper next week.
I think we’re going to do this today! (Minus the glitter tho- we don’t have any and it’s too nasty to go out!) Thanks for another great idea!! <3
This is going to be perfect for the toddlers ministry next month
