Paint the Snow Activity

I have seen this activity on Pinterest soooo many times, and for good reason. It’s fun! I got to try this out with Lorelai and my nephew the other day before the snow melted completely. It worked like a charm. All of the other posts I’ve seen called for food coloring and water. My parents were out of food coloring, so we mixed in some paint instead. I think this way is much better because food coloring STAINS, and tempera paint does not! =)

So What You’ll Need:

  • 2 or more condiment dispensers (I found ours at Target in the kitchen section)
  • Water
  • Tempera (or Craft) Paint
  • Snow

What To Do:

  • Fill your condiment dispenser 3/4ths of the way full with water.
  • Add a few dollops of tempera paint.
  • Shake to mix.
  • Squirt on the snow and have fun!

I had an empty eggo syrup container. I rinsed it out really well and used that because it has the film thing at the top so it doesn’t exactly leak everywhere. My daughter loved it
