Native American Handprint Craft

Good morning, crafters! I’m so excited to bring this adorable handprint Native American to you all today. I saw a similar craft posted on a local Pottery Painting store and couldn’t pass up doing this with my daughter. When I told her this morning what I had in mind, she looked down at her hand and figured out how it would become the Native American. She’s crafty for sure! =)

handprintna-010What You’ll Need — a hand, paint, paint brushes, a marker, and a piece of paper
What To Do — It’s self explanatory, really. Just paint the fingers different colors for the feathers, then the palm a tannish-brown. Don’t paint the thumb! Press gently down onto a piece of paper. Once dry, draw on the headband and the hanging feathers, as well as the face.

I hope you get a chance to do this fun handprint craft with your child! You can see the fun turkey handprint version or visit our Thanksgiving Crafts Round-Up for more fun craft ideas!
