Handprint Snowflake
I saw this adorable handprint snowflake project on what to do with children and knew immediately we would have to do it! Lorelai has been battling a tummy bug for the past couple of days and is finally starting to feel better. She asked to get crafty tonight and this was the first thing I thought to do. I mixed it up a little from the original posting. Instead of using glitter glue, I painted Lore’s hand and let her press it down in a circle. She used regular liquid school glue to make a cute “design” on it, and then sprinkled glitter all over. It came out really cute and is now hanging on our learning board.
So what you’ll need – a hand, white paint, a piece of blue construction paper, a paint brush, glue, and glitter.
What to Do – paint your child’s hand and press it down on the paper until it forms a snowflake shape. Let you child decorate it with glue and silver glitter!
