Quick Look

Hey guys! In case you don’t know by now, I’m Kimberly. I’m the mommy, brains, photographer, and designer behind LearnCreateLove. I’m a proud momma to my girls: Lorelai (14) and Madeline (7). We currently live in Texas, but originally came here from a small town in Maryland and go back often to visit family. We began homeschooling this year, something I never thought I’d do, but we are LOVING it! Getting to spend more time with Lorelai, make new friends, and experiencing our homeschool-friendly city has been amazing. I look forward to sharing our adventures on here with you guys!

When I first started this blog, the sole purpose was for me to have a place to dump all of my “family” stuff. At the time, Lorelai was really getting into crafts and we were starting our homeschool preschool “program” at the time (hence the name). When I started making printable crafts (to make my own life a little easier!), friends starting asking for copies. I began sticking a download link at the end of the blog posts and it just grew from there. Every printable I make, I make for my daughter’s benefit, and I put them for download on my blog because I know someone else out there might be able to use them. I hope you are able to use them!

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling now. Enjoy your stay at LCL and please feel free to comment ~ I love reading them!!

I love your website! You have created amazing things for you daughter to learn from. I love that you know you are her “First teacher”, as that is so true and yet lost among many. I cannot wait to share your ideas in my class when school resumes in September. I have the honor of teaching a child development class to high school students and we run a preschool for our community. I will be in the process of updating my preschool website in the coming weeks (seemed like a good summer activity) and I will add your blog to my links page. Thank you again for sharing!

    HI!

    I love your crafts.

I am a teacher, and some of these printables are awesome – right now we’re doing a theme on the three little pigs with the puppet theatre in the class, and I’d love to use your craft for that. Can you give me information on your copyright policies – I know you say to not redistribute. Do you mind if I use your crafts for classroom activities?

    Hello Kimberly,
I work for an elementary school after school program and I go to college before and after work (studying to be an elementary school teacher, actually). I just want to say THANK YOU for posting all of these crafts. Your crafts are such a gift, especially since I don’t have any experience working with kids before and having little training from the school district I work for. I have only been on your site for 10 minutes and have already found so many fun projects for my students to do that tie in with the lessons and topics we learn about during our activity time. So again, thank you so much. I know that your projects will continue to benefit not only me, but my students as well. πŸ™‚
    Keep up the awesome work,
    -Angela

I am a 2nd Grade teacher and every year we write research papers over an animal. I recently just found your website with your animal crafts. LOVE THEM! You have all of my students animals except for one. One of my students wanted to reseach Prairie Dogs, and I wasn’t goingt o get in his way! I know you mentioned letting you know if there was an animal you do not have! Is there any way that you could make a prairie dog? I would need it fairly quickly!

Hope you are able to help!

    Thank you,

Hi Kimberly, Love your website. I can see in other posts that you said it’s ok to share your crafts, however I just wanted to check again. I’m starting my own business doing dance classes within preschools and after I leave the centre I wanted to email them a list of craft ideas and a list of websites that they could refer to, to extend with the children and print off templates etc. Would you mind if I listed your website to distribute to preschools and use a few of your craft photos (such as the Cheetah mask) with the link to your website underneath it? Thank you so much for your time. Kind regards, Kristy.
