1-Minute Playdough

playdough-020The best thing about this playdough recipe is…. there is no actual recipe. It’s that easy!

Materials Needed: All purpose flour, water, hair conditioner (or shampoo), and a big bowl to mix it all in.
Add the flour, a couple squirts of water, and a big squeeze of hair conditioner and mix. Mix with your hands. If it’s too wet and sticky, add more flour. Too dry? Add more conditioner or water. The end product will be soft, moldable playdough. Lorelai described it as “marshmallow-y”, which really is the perfect description of it. It took me less than a minute to make.

  1. Saw this post yesterday and pinned it. It looks so fantastic! I must be getting over my glitter-phobic ways because I’m thinking we may just have to do this here.

  2. I had some flour left over from making puffy paint and conditioner left over from making snow dough. I had my preschoolers mix the stuff together. They put in a lot of conditoner and water. The dough was sticky but i added some cornstarch, glitter and green dye. They loved it.
