The best thing about this playdough recipe is…. there is no actual recipe. It’s that easy!
Materials Needed: All purpose flour, water, hair conditioner (or shampoo), and a big bowl to mix it all in.
Add the flour, a couple squirts of water, and a big squeeze of hair conditioner and mix. Mix with your hands. If it’s too wet and sticky, add more flour. Too dry? Add more conditioner or water. The end product will be soft, moldable playdough. Lorelai described it as “marshmallow-y”, which really is the perfect description of it. It took me less than a minute to make.
I ended up dumping a bunch of different color glitters in to give it a little extra oomph. Adding glitter to anything will automatically make it a hit in my child’s book.
I also poured some more playdough on the table surface so she could dry up any sticky spots in the dough.
She made me 6 sparkle cookies, a sparkle banana, and a big donut. Yum.
